ATR Surveyor

The ATR 42 MP Surveyor is based on the ATR 42 platform. In the wake of ATR’s worldwide success with commercial customers, the aircraft has broadened its scope of application to develop derivatives for use in Maritime and Coastal surveillance, Search and Rescue, Pollution Detection and Control, Vessel Search, and Identification and Surveillance.

Proven in revenue service under a variety of operating conditions, ATR’s design and size makes it well adapted to special missions , and provides a solid airframe, the necessary support systems, and the cabin volume to accommodate the special equipment required for these missions.

The stringent requirements of Maritime Patrol missions dictate the use of state-of-the-art sensors to detect, localize and track targets. The centerpiece sensor is the search radar, which provides 360-degree coverage, guaranteeing the highest level of search efficiency and the best detection capability.
