One of the main characteristics for a calibration aircraft is the capability to carry an additional payload. The ATR 42 calibration can carry the crew, calibration equipment and 4,200 kg of extra payload without limitations over 450 Nm or an extra load of 3,000 kg over a 1,200 Nm trip. For a mission far from the main base, the ATR 42 calibration is capable of one 750 Nm round-trip associated to a 3 hours calibration mission at 1,500 ft. |
